Living in the Lower Garden District

This is going to be fun.

It’s all in a day’s work – listing beautiful houses – but some are more fun than others.

This one belongs to a long-time client in the lower Garden District, and it’s a good example of doing what you love.  The dreaded open house?  HA.  More like a fantastic excuse to hang out, eat king cake and enjoy the sounds of the neighborhood while talking about my favorite thing – the gorgeous homes of New Orleans.

This one becomes available for sale next week, and I can’t wait.

It’s multi-family, believe it or not, and has two bedrooms, two baths upstairs for the owner, and a quaint three bed/ two bath apartment downstairs with a long history of profitable short term rentals.

The best kept secret (which I’ll unveil next week) is the unbelievable poolside courtyard out back.  Not only does it have covered off-street parking inside the gate, but an epic oasis awaits inside those walls – I can’t wait to show it off!
